Electronica and djent fusion that kicks ass

Anup Sastry has become a face of the djent in the world. After joining Monuments, time has come for his solo work release “Bloom” – a gripping combination of grooves and hardcore techno. Interesting music coming out these days indeed, with that being part of the solid stuff. Sci-fi metal is growing and actually leads everybody else by a mile in the cool factor (and talent). Electronic-djenty instrumental music, brilliant!

Anup Sastry delivers and ‘Bloom’ for me personally is his finest hour

As you can guess there are no vocals in this one. The music is well put together with rhythm patterns from some other dimension. It goes up and down, left and right, quite heavy and yet so listenable. The drum work is flawless as it was expected, but what really impresses is the guitar riffs and how well recorded they are. Actually all the composition has one familiar feel – Intervals, but let’s make a deal for you to find where in their discography, because what Anup did in Intervals deserves you go and check them out.

Sound

Achievement! That crunch of the guitars is just astonishingly clear for the low tunings and bass, the mix is even djentier than what we have heard until now, drums are crisp and everything sounds tight.
